How to Books are my new favourite tool!

There are several ways I use them: sometimes to just get my creative juices flowing, sometimes to create a replica of what is shown, and then sometimes I like to mix this one and that one to make something completely new.

That is what I did for this layout. I used Make it from your Heart Volume 2.  The left side is from page 10 , pattern 3 left page.  The right is from Page 12. Pattern 4 left side but flipped to be on the right

I made the decisions of that pattern I was using based on my photos, then I looked at how to combine the two patterns and where to use which papers.

For the left instead of adding more paper along the far left side like the pattern suggests I added stamping. You could also add washi tape here as well,

On the Right side I changed the layout of the Photos to suit my photos I altered the size and orientation. I tucked in a Picture My Life card to shift the bottom photo more to the right and inline with photo above it.

Do not let the pattern restrict your artwork use it as a jumping off point for your creativity! I could uses these patterns thousands of times each time they would look a little different.
